The life and times of a con-artist named
M. C. David Waathiq also known as Mujaahid D. Waathiq also known as M. David. Wattiq also known as M. D. Waathiq

On this page you can read how Mr. Waathiq has attempted to get Google and Yahoo to remove content which interfered with the various business activities (or 'business concerns' as Mr. Waathiq likes to call it) while in fact Mr. Waathiq was trying to get material from the US Courts database removed so it wouldn't be accessible online, thereby preventing people from discovering his bankruptcy track record and extremely questionable practices that leads to legal suits regarding fraud (document published by USCOURTS.GOV).

In the final e-mail listed on the page Mr. Waathiq made a reference to a company that had released a press release to announce they had no association with Advanced Technology Publishing, one of Mr. Waathiq's 'business concerns'. Mr. Waathiq claimed that the press release was based on disinformation and that he would address the matter with his attorney. We contacted the company and shared this information with them. The result was an interesting discussion where many of our questions were answered by one of the people (Mr. S.D.) who Mr. Waathiq has not managed to con out of a substantial investment. We have been allowed to use portions and statements of this discussion where they would be appropriate in addressing Mr. Waathiq's wild and unfounded claims. We have added additional information and links to the text where we felt they were appropriate.

Waathiq-Watch Web-Team :
"What was the reason you/your company issued this press release?"
Mr. S.D. :
"We were aware that Mr. Waathiq and/or his fellow officers at ATP would prefer we did not release our press statements and while Mr. Waathiq asked me not to release anything we felt that, as a real corporation with real business to do, it was prudent and necessary. Mr. Waathiq made statements that there was no further business between our companies but persistently ignored the fact that we were, have been, and hopefully are no longer, associated with any of his operations. We have a lot of evidence that Mr. Waathiq had sent around the e-mail conversations we have had regarding an investment in his company, which at the time we considered to be legal and above-board, and as such there were parties confronted with our good name and reputation being associated with what we later learned was anything but above-board. We don't want anything to do with individuals or businesses that harm others, financially or otherwise, and certainly do not want to be associated with anyone who goes out of their way to prevent paying their staff and/or contractors. The fact that Mr. Waathiq concerned himself more about his own situation and blatantly indicated we should not be concerned about ours was even more of a reason since it clearly indicated we were dealing with someone who doesn't mind burning and associating anyone at random around him as long as he does not have to bear the consequences of his own actions".
Waathiq-Watch Web-Team :
"Mr. Waathiq writes in his e-mail that he will address the issue of the press release with his attorney. Will you retract the press release?"
Mr. S.D. :
"There is no reason to retract or modify the press release in any way. No".
Waathiq-Watch Web-Team :
"But what if Mr. Waathiq causes legal problems for you/your company?"
Mr. S.D. :
"I doubt Mr. Waathiq or his business(es) are capable of causing any kind of legal problem at all. Maybe strong words like that would intimidate less successful or smaller businesses but we have a reputation of being very thorough in our business dealings and statements. We have also seen public record evidence that Mr. Waathiq hires a lawyer only to end up in a situation where the lawyer does not get paid for their services so that they end up on the official public list of creditors that Mr. Waathiq has acquired. We are also not impressed in the slightest with the person that Mr. Waathiq had presented as their corporate attorney which turned out to be another fine misrepresentation because the person was not an attorney according to the legal definition of the title. On top of that this misrepresented attorney wrote us a letter with some of the wildest accusations and lies we have seen in a long time. I think you might say I'm not impressed and wouldn't feel intimidated by what Mr. Waathiq or his business could bring forth. It'd be like an ant trying to wrestle an elephant".
Waathiq-Watch Web-Team :
"Do you have any thoughts about Mr. Waathiq's claim that you/your company was solicited by another party?"
Mr. S.D. :
"I have some thoughts on that, yes. It would, however, not be very appropriate to communicate those verbatim. I am convinced, though, that Mr. Waathiq feels better about himself if he is able to present himself as an injured party as opposed to the hunter that stalks his prey. Accusing a party he harbors many negative feelings towards and imagining them to have an influence on our business decisions is completely ludicrous to say the least. I think, though, that Mr. Waathiq suffers from a very unhealthy dose of paranoia. When we were discovering more about Mr. Waathiq's public record and confronted him with our findings he immediately started to accuse other parties, some of which we hadn't even heard of before. Maybe in his own mind it fits his miscommunications better if he can make claims and statements that the accused party has been soliciting others for some reason. Maybe a different kind of professional help would be more to his advantage".
Waathiq-Watch Web-Team :
"But what about the disinformation Mr. Waathiq claims was the basis for the press release?"
Mr. S.D. :
"Ha! That's a good one. Disinformation is only disinformation if it can't be substantiated and verified. All our information was both substantiated, verified, and scrutinized. The length and effort we went through to get all the details and verification we needed wasn't a simple overnight effort let me tell you. I find it typical for Mr. Waathiq as I have come to know him, that he will claim disinformation on some website caused something else to happen that wasn't to his advantage while in fact our statements were based on information we acquired from other and different sources and not these websites that Mr. Waathiq is being so violently negative towards. It wasn't until Mr. Waathiq himself claimed the internet was riddled with libel and disinformation about him that we looked around. Strangely enough all of the websites he accuses weren't even around and only a few fragments of information (verifiable and public record, at that) could be located through the different search engines. Mr. Waathiq can't even substantiate his statement given the dates involved in our process of confronting him with our findings and the earlier disappearance of these websites he speaks of".
Waathiq-Watch Web-Team :
"Do you think these sites listed disinformation about Mr. Waathiq?"
Mr. S.D. :
"I don't know what to think other than that I wish we had found such websites sooner so I wouldn't have wasted any time on Mr. Waathiq. I doubt there's much disinformation, or libel, going around from what I can see. Everything is just plain public record, facts, things that are easily substantiated, nothing out of the ordinary. I can understand that Mr. Waathiq is less pleased with the public availability but then again in business and life everyone has to bear the consequences of their own actions. It does occur to me, however, that Mr. Waathiq is very quick to call something disinformation or a misunderstanding. While we confronted him with our findings it was the first thing he said even though we had not informed him in detail what our discoveries were. That was really an obvious move at deflection, a text-book case. Mr. Waathiq as I have come to know him is very quick to make statements that hold no value or or otherwise untrue, only to claim it was a misunderstanding when confronted with the truth. When we had our legal representative offer Mr. Waathiq the chance to explain all those compounded miscommunications all we got was radio silence".
Waathiq-Watch Web-Team :
"What is your general view on web-sites like those about Mr. Waathiq?"
Mr. S.D. :
"Freedom of information and accessible technology for the masses is a positive development. Public information that is easily, freely, or cheaply accessible is becoming a fact of life in the modern world and I would consider sources of public information that are reliable and honest to be a wonderful asset. We have always been a strong proponent in the fight against fraudulent activities, businesses that are out to harm others and grab some quick money to satisfy their own needs and greed, con-artists that roam the various layers of business, etc. should wake up to the fact that they can no longer hide in the shadows. Those who might have actual legal cases against disinformation should take whatever action they legally can but in most or all of these cases they are helpless because there is just too much evidence that weighs against them. I particularly value readily accessible information when it is to my advantage in business. Being able to run background checks used to be quite an effort, and still is in some cases, but the internet has changed a lot of that in a very positive way. I do, however, think that information should be presented in an easily accessible way without it being too much information that doesn't accomplish its goal. Sometimes less information is more, which is why I'm only providing you with a selection of material on Mr. Waathiq and his business operations. The complete volume might be too overwhelming for most people who need quick substantiated references. And anyone who passes off incorrect and worthless paperwork and then insists it's all the required material for an investor deserves to be publically listed for their actions".
Waathiq-Watch Web-Team :
"On behalf of the team I wish to thank you for being so candid with us and for providing some more substantiation and evidence of our other information we have gathered over the recent period".
Mr. S.D. :
"You're welcome. I hope that Mr. Waathiq and potential accomplishes will start to see the error of their ways and I am happy to assist you with the hosting of computing power and bandwidth to further your efforts".
